Project Spotlight
Steel Canopy
Service Body
We blasted it clean, laid down premium-grade coatings: restored to a tough, long-lasting finish built to handle the work.
What We Did
How We Tackled the Project
01
Blast It Clean to Bare Metal
We mobilized to the job site and blasted the steel canopy service body down to bare metal. Every trace of rust, old coating, and surface contamination was removed. Working to SSPC standards ensures the new coating system has a clean, properly profiled surface to bond to: no shortcuts, no skipped steps.
- Full mobile rig: no hauling required
- Stripped to bare metal: rust, old coatings, and mill scale removed
- SSPC surface prep standards met throughout
- All edges, seams, and hard-to-reach areas addressed
02
Premium-Grade Coatings Applied
With the surface properly prepped, we applied premium-grade industrial coatings designed to handle the demands of a working service body. The coating system delivers a tough, corrosion-resistant finish that protects the steel and holds up to the elements, abrasion, and daily use.
- Premium-grade industrial coating system
- Applied at proper mil thickness for full protection
- Seamless, pinhole-free coverage on all surfaces
- Corrosion-resistant and built for daily working conditions
03
Inspection and Ready to Work
Before we packed up, the finished service body was inspected for full coating coverage, proper adhesion, and mil thickness. The result: a clean, protected steel canopy service body ready to go back to work.
- Coating adhesion and mil thickness verified
- Full coverage confirmed: no holidays or thin spots
- Ready for immediate return to service
